Our work so far

As promised :) the first photo is of our wonderful display board for The Great Fire of London.  The children have been busy writing diary enteries and key words to put up on display, we are all very proud of the way it looks.  Hope you like it too!


The next picture is of the dreaded Plague house!! we are starting work on shape poems about the plague very shortly, so keep a close eye for some of these being posted online soon.

 
The last set of photos are of the wonderful designs for a new St Paul's Cathedral.  Everybody worked tirelessly building their designs from wooden bricks called Kapla, I think some of the designs are better than the original, what about you?

This Half-Term

This half term is going to be super busy for us all.  The stage has been set up ready for our Christmas concert practice and rehersals are going really well so far.  Keep up the hard work!!
Our topic this term is Remember, Remember where we will be learning about Guy Fawkes, The Great Fire of London and the Plague!! We have already got stuck into this topic and made some wonderful shape poems and produced some great work.  Look out for photos very very soon!

Reading Cafe

Just a big thank you to everyone who came and supported the reading cafe today and over the past month.  It has been great to share our work with you and we all look forward to seeing you all again soon.  A big thank you from Mr Arthur, Mrs Dunford and all the children in year 1/2.

Parents evening

Just a quick reminder that parents evening is being held at 22nd October, currently there are four spaces left for evening appointments.  They are as follows:
4.40-4.50
4.50-5.00
5.20-5.30
5.30-5.40

It would be lovely to fill all these spaces and get to see as many people as possible.  If you can make any of these times it would be great to see you, you can arrange an appointment by sending back your form, coming to see me, or responding on here.  Hopefully see you soon.
